This is our story …
It started with a spark — a handful of friends chasing fairways and friendship across the DFW Metroplex. No crowds. No spotlight. Just the crisp sound of drives down the fairway, laughter between holes, and a shared love for the game.
What began as a weekend pastime quickly grew into something bigger. Strangers became teammates, beginners found confidence, and a small circle blossomed into a thriving community. Out of that spirit, the Champion Golfers Association (CGA) was born.
Today, CGA is more than a golf association — it’s a movement. A welcoming home for both seasoned players and those picking up a club for the very first time. Here, we share the green, the grind, and the glory. We don’t just play golf — we live it. Together.
Mission Statement
At the Champion Golfers Association (CGA), our mission is to unite golfers of all skill levels in a vibrant, welcoming community built on passion, integrity, and friendship. We create opportunities for every member to experience the game in a way that’s inclusive, engaging, and inspiring — from casual weekly outings to high-stakes competition.
Through our signature events, including the Annual CGA Tournament, Round Robins, Red vs Blue and Ryder Cup–style matchups, we celebrate the spirit of competition while fostering respect and camaraderie among players. For newcomers, we offer beginner-friendly clinics, mentorship, and personalized guidance to ensure everyone feels confident on the course.
At the heart of CGA is a commitment to sportsmanship, connection, and continuous improvement — both in the game and in the bonds we share. Whether you’re chasing your personal best or enjoying your first round, CGA is your home to play, grow, and belong through the shared love of golf.
