Lone Star Cup in Houston (Mar 2020)

On Sunday, March 1, 2020, HPGA hosted 31 golfers from our Champion Golfers Association for the inaugural Lone Star Cup. It was a resounding success, connecting 62 golfers participating in the tournament and fun activities throughout the weekend. We congratulate CGA team captain Khoshnood Ahmad and HPGA team captain Abdullah S. Jafari for leading their sides to a remarkable event.

A huge thanks to everyone from HPGA for taking time to organize this wonderful event for their counterparts from Dallas. For us, it was definitely a fun trip to Houston. On behalf of CGA & HPGA, we thank Mr. Nasrullah Khan of Wallis Bank for sponsoring the trophies and Zaman Mehdi of Raveneaux Country Club for sponsoring refreshments during the tournament. We are proud of our fellow Houston golfers for their hospitality while we were there and ensuring a memorable time for us during our trip.

Last but not least, we donated a portion of the proceeds from the tournament to The Citizens Foundation, USA to support children education in Pakistan from Kindergarten to 10th Grade.
